Microsoft continues to strengthen its commitment in Indonesia with a major expansion of AI infrastructure and cloud services. Since the launch of the Indonesia Central cloud region in May 2025, adoption growth has continued to accelerate.
Strong Customer Momentum
Organizations from diverse industries have onboarded, including leading names such as Petrosea and Vale Indonesia that are leveraging in-country infrastructure to modernize operations and strengthen data governance.
Digital platforms like tiket.com are also pushing the boundaries of customer experience through agentic AI. Their AI-based travel assistant, built on Azure OpenAI Service, allows customers to manage their trips using natural language.
Long-term Commitment
This announcement further strengthens Microsoft's long-term commitment of US$1.7 billion (2024-2028) to advance Indonesia's cloud and AI infrastructure, ecosystem development, and skilling programs.
